Playtech Launches “Deal or No Deal – Big Draw” Live Bingo Game
28.06.2024
A prominent figure in the gaming industry, Playtech, has just unveiled a fresh live game titled “Deal or No Deal – Big Draw.” This game, a bingo variation, draws inspiration from the renowned television program.
Playtech has been collaborating with the show for a period and has a dedicated bingo space for it.
The game mirrors the television show’s format. Sixteen containers hold prizes. Participants receive fifteen numbers on their ticket, with the sixteenth container representing their potential reward. As the balls are selected, numbers and prizes vanish from the ticket, and the banker’s bar gradually fills. When the bar reaches seven numbers, the banker presents the initial offer.
If the participant accepts the offer, the game concludes. However, they can purchase five additional balls to continue playing and attempt to secure a more favorable offer. If they decline the offer and no further balls remain, their container is opened, and they receive the prize within.
Moreover, participants can opt to enhance one of five awards prior to the commencement of the round, as well as participate in a supplemental mini-lottery game where prizes are determined by the initial 20 balls drawn.
Additionally, to guide players through the gameplay, a tutorial has been incorporated for the first time, providing a video summary of “Deal or No Deal – Big Draw”. The tutorial also provides subtitles in various languages to support the game’s international enthusiasts.
Edo Haitin, Chief Executive Officer of Playtech Live Casino, stated: “We are delighted to introduce the excitement of one of the most enduring game formats on television to Live. With the inclusion of the mini-lottery side game, players can purchase multiple tickets, with up to six decision points throughout the game, whether to purchase more balls or accept the banker’s offer, ‘Deal or No Deal – Big Draw’ introduces a new level of engagement and strategic participation for players. For many players, live gaming is both an experience and a risk, and we observe a growing trend in game show-style game formats, which is why we are confident that ‘Deal or No Deal’ will be a significant success.”
Lex Scott, Head of Business Development at Banijay Brands, stated: “We are pleased to expand our partnership with Playtech with the launch of ‘Deal or No Deal – Big Draw.”
The studio demonstration was exceptional! It blended traditional formats with innovative additions, such as mini-lotteries. We believe it was truly unique and engaging for those participating in real-time, and it aligns perfectly with the brand identity.
