Scientific Games Appoints Victor Blanco as New Head of Technology

Scientific Games has named Victor Blanco as their new head of technology.

Blanco will begin his new position next year and will be responsible for the company’s technology plan, which encompasses gaming, lottery, sports wagering, and online gambling.

He joins Scientific Games from Aristocrat, where he served as the CTO and spearheaded the company’s technology strategy. He was a key figure in the transformation of the land-based gaming industry and led the expansion into social casino and casual gaming.

Prior to that, Blanco was the Director of Software Architecture at HTC and held various software engineering roles at Microsoft. He was part of the team that created the first Xbox console and online services.
