The EuroLeague Basketball organization and the Turkish wagering company Nesine have jointly declared that their sponsorship arrangement will be prolonged until the year 2025.

This extension arrives six years after Nesine became the official sports wagering sponsor of EuroLeague Basketball in 2015. This marks the second time the agreement has been extended, signifying a further strengthening of the partnership between the two entities.

As part of this collaboration, Nesine has actively promoted EuroLeague Basketball within Turkey, achieving widespread brand recognition. Recently, Nesine had prominent brand displays at the 2021 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Final Four in Cologne, Germany.

“The partnership between EuroLeague Basketball and Nesine is a mutually beneficial collaboration that has yielded six years of increased visibility and fan engagement for both parties,” remarked Jordi Bertomeu, President and CEO of EuroLeague Basketball.

“We express our gratitude for Nesine’s professionalism, expertise, and shared vision, and this renewal reinforces our mutual commitment to the future.”

Since Nesine became the sports wagering partner of EuroLeague Basketball, both Anadolu Efes Istanbul and Fenerbahçe Istanbul have secured EuroLeague championships, showcasing the flourishing state of Turkish basketball.

Moreover, EuroLeague Basketball stated that over the past two years, interest in the EuroLeague and EuroCup has witnessed a 21% increase, indicating the sustained popularity of the sport.

Being a technology firm, we aim to contribute to the sport that has provided us with so much,” stated Halit Gulbakanoglu, the head of Nesine. “We are truly delighted and proud to continue our collaboration with the leading basketball organization in Europe – the EuroLeague.”
