This autumn, enthusiasts of athletic competitions in the Crescent City will discover a fresh locale to indulge their passions: Caesars Sportsbook at Harrah’s New Orleans. This remarkable establishment is an integral component of an extensive $325 million endeavor that will reimagine Harrah’s New Orleans into Caesars New Orleans.

The sportsbook itself encompasses a generous 5,700 square feet, providing ample space to wager at one of the four betting counters or twelve self-service terminals. And should poker be your game of choice, fortune smiles upon you! Adjacent, you’ll encounter an expansive 5,000-square-foot poker room, furnished with 20 tables to ensure a comfortable and roomy gaming atmosphere.

Envision witnessing the pivotal match on a colossal 147-foot video display accompanied by a cutting-edge sound system, all while basking in the opulent ambiance. Seating accommodates 140 individuals, supplemented by a dedicated fan enclave featuring multiple screens for gatherings of up to 10. And let’s not overlook the substantial bar capable of serving 28 patrons!

This is but one of the ventures Caesars has planned for the Pelican State. They are also reconstructing their Lake Charles property, slated to reopen as Horseshoe Lake Charles, and incorporating a brand-new sportsbook at Horseshoe Bossier City.

Caesars is undoubtedly making significant strides in Louisiana, and the new Caesars Sportsbook at Harrah’s New Orleans represents merely the inception. As Dan Real, Regional President of Caesars Entertainment, articulated, this new sportsbook is poised to become a premier destination for aficionados of sporting events in the Southern region.

This top-tier sports betting venue is poised to revolutionize the experience for Louisiana’s devoted enthusiasts and the numerous tourists we welcome,” remarked a Caesars Entertainment representative. “We recognize the significance of sports, leisure, and hospitality to Louisiana, and this facility stands as a testament to our dedication to the state and its residents.”

The card room will feature a diverse selection of live-action poker options, with recurring competitions taking place each Sunday, Monday, and Wednesday.

“The World Series of Poker represents the zenith of poker, making it imperative for us to establish a card room that embodies its heritage,” stated Samir Mowad, Head of Operations at Harrah’s New Orleans. “We are crafting a premier poker haven for our players, characterized by a spirited ambiance, an environment fostering camaraderie, and naturally, the exhilaration of triumph for our victors.”
