Century Gaming Acquires Nugget Casino Resort in Reno

Century Gaming is significantly expanding its presence in the Reno gaming market with the acquisition of the Nugget Casino Resort. The transaction, valued at $195 million, grants the Colorado-based corporation operational control of the resort and a 50% ownership interest in the property. A $3.3 billion loan has been secured to finance the purchase, restructure existing debt, and provide additional financial flexibility.

Situated just outside of Reno in Sparks, Nevada, the Nugget features an expansive casino floor with more than 850 slot machines, 29 table games, and a hotel offering over 1,300 rooms and multiple dining options.
