Emerald Isle bookmaking firm, AK Wagers, has named Joe Lee as their new Chief Strategy and Operations Officer. Lee possesses a vast amount of expertise, having devoted over six years to industry titan Paddy Power Betfair.

Debuting in 2021, AK Wagers initially concentrated on equine wagering. Despite a gradual beginning, they have branched out into digital betting via a website and mobile application.

Lee’s notable background encompasses leadership roles at Paddy Power Betfair, spanning product development, niche wagering sectors, and regional management. His career also includes positions at other well-known entities such as Sportsbet and Matchbook Betting Exchange.

Thrilled to join AK Wagers, Lee conveyed his eagerness to return to a fledgling company atmosphere and collaborate with a skilled group. He maintains that despite industry mergers, prospects remain for innovators like AK Wagers, and he is keen to contribute to their achievements.

Anthony Kaminskas established AK Bets. He previously collaborated with Lee at Paddy Power, holding positions as a Senior Risk Manager in their Horse Racing division and as the Head of Greyhound Racing.
