PlayNow.com to Launch in Saskatchewan, Offering Online Casino Games and Sports Betting

Inhabitants of Saskatchewan will soon have the opportunity to engage in internet-based casino games and wagering on sporting events via PlayNow.com. The Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority (SIGA) has selected BCLC, the British Columbia Lottery Corporation, to furnish the digital gambling platform.

PlayNow currently holds the distinction of being the sole lawful gambling website in British Columbia and Manitoba. It will undergo modifications to cater to Saskatchewan players and will present popular casino games alongside single-event sports betting.

The anticipated launch of this novel platform is slated for later this year, with SIGA overseeing its operation under an agreement with SaskGaming. This agreement follows a pact inked last September between the Federation of Sovereign Indigenous Nations (FSIN) and the Saskatchewan government, granting SIGA the authority to conduct online gambling within the province.
